• This antenna by McGill Microwave systems is a great choice for Helium hotspots. The antenna is optimized for top performance for the Helium network and offers superior power transmission.
• This antenna is designed to operate with peak performance and to be fully compatible with the UK/EU frequency band 868. Thanks to this it meets the local regulations and thus improves the Helium hotspot operation and quality of service.
• It’s beneficial to opt for an optimized antenna for your local requirements. This means better peak operation. In contrast, universal antennas, made to work with both the EU868 and the US915 frequencies, result in less optimal performance.

• The McGill Microwave Systems antenna offers 360 degrees HPBWh and 56+/-1 degrees HPBWv. The tilt is 0 degrees and the polarization is vertical. Maximum power goes up to 50W. The antenna is 300mm high and has 20mm diameter for a total weight of 0.5kg and is made from fiberglass. Rated for wind speeds of up to 120km/h. Mounting bracket is included.
• The antenna offers 56 +/- 1 degrees (3dBi) signal radiation footprint. It also offers VSW performance of 1.5:1 which increases the transmitted, non-reflected power with +7%. These results are when compared with many of the commercially available 2:1 non optimized designs.
